Life is like...
busy, frustrating, happy, sad, fast, fun, difficult, easy, a struggle, different, same, sweet, challenging but most of all for the most part I think my life isn't bad and mostly it is good.

Currently reading: A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson
Listening to, on rotation at work when people start talking too loud and interfering with my concentration: Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, The Beatles,
Radio Head, Badly Drawn Boy, Elliot Smith, The Jam, Tori Amos.
And on occassion at other times: Ben Harper, Bob Mould, Corduroy, Miles Davis & John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea etc.
This is why I have never put my musical tastes out there before there is so much though if I had to sum it up though, as a rule its Jazz or Classical for Sunday Breakfasts with heaving leanings towards Brit Pop most other days.

Everytime I see Gabriella I see Nell in 8 months time. Dressed in a fairy suit. Crying.

Okay second attempt to leave a comment - I deleted the last one due to way too many typos. I am wondering if Nell will have the same aversion as Gabriella to the feel of tulle!

We are currently enduring the the trauma of hosting Elliot's 7th birthday party. A dozen people for a dinner party, 50 pax for cocktails, is more up my alley I am not much chop with kiddies parties, P and I have never argued soooo much.
